It’s been over a decade since I first ventured into the world of digital media and marketing, and I’ve found that nobody I’ve worked with arrived here in quite the same way. Our digital revolution has created a new career path that feels more reminiscent of swashbuckling adventures than the 9 to 5 or 5 to 9 march defining the last two generations.
I work alongside people with backgrounds in theater, policy, neurosurgery, journalism, education, game development, and so many other arenas of life. Digital connectivity has made it possible to have coffee with someone in London, brainstorm with a person in Budapest, and cheers over cocktails with someone in Hawaii all in the same day.
We’re in a new“make your own adventure” era, and it’s never been more possible to explore your wildest dreams.
